Dropship.io

Overview

After teaming up with the well-known dropshipper Nawras Ganim on a bunch of stores, he swung by with a new request. This time, he needed a hand with his fresh venture, a software company called dropship.io.

Challenge

Shifting from e-commerce to software did tweak our SEO playbook a bit. While the core strategies stayed put, we swapped out category pages for tool pages. Plus, we leaned harder on our blog to drive conversions, tailoring content to nudge readers closer to trying out the software.

Strategy

Here is the strategy we used to get these results:

  1. Technical Fixes: We went over and fixed a bunch of technical issues, like a lack of a site map and slow load speed.
  2. Internal Linking: Created 8 pages dedicated to different tools, making it easier for both users and search engines to find them.
  3. Content Optimization: Revamped most pages already on the website to improve the rankings.
  4. Link Building: Grabbed 25 solid backlinks from big tech and software review websites, increasing our site's authority. Some of these links came from Shopify, Oberlo, and Hubspot.
  5. Purposeful Blogs: Wrote blogs designed to catch readers' interest and guide them toward trying our software. This included versus, guides, and best-of posts.
Results

Dropship.io's clicks jumped from 148 to ~1,800 a day in just one year!

Plus, their monthly revenue increased from less than $2,148 to $38,230!

  • 1,216% increase in daily clicks
  • 1,679% increase in revenue
  • Both in less than 12 months

And this was with without including the keyword "dropship". Which we also rank for.

This keyword gave us approximantly 25,000 visitors each month and raking in about $64,231 in revenue every month. But, there's a catch. I don't want to take all the credit for that keyword, since a lot of folks searching it are just trying to navigate back to us after finding the software elsewhere.

This is what Nawras hade to say about it:
